Terms of Service

Effective Date: December 1, 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set forth the conditions for the use of the Rein application and the services provided within it (“Service”), operated by the Rein operator (“Operator”).
Registered users (“Users”) agree to these Terms prior to using the Service.

Article 1 (Application)

  1. These Terms apply to all relationships between the User and the Operator concerning the Service.
  2. The Operator may establish additional rules or guidelines (“Individual Provisions”) which constitute part of these Terms.
  3. In the event of conflict between these Terms and any Individual Provision, the Individual Provision shall prevail unless otherwise specified.

Article 2 (User Registration)

  1. Prospective users shall apply for registration in the manner prescribed by the Operator. Registration is complete once approved by the Operator.
  2. The Operator may refuse registration without obligation to disclose the reason, including but not limited to:
    • Submission of false information,
    • Previous violations of these Terms, or
    • Cases deemed inappropriate by the Operator.
  3. Only individuals aged 13 or older may use the Service.
  4. Minors must obtain consent from their legal guardian before using the Service.

Article 3 (User ID and Password Management)

  1. Users are responsible for securely managing their User IDs and passwords.
  2. Users must not transfer, lend, or share their credentials with third parties.
  3. Any login made using registered credentials is deemed to have been made by the User.
  4. The Operator shall not be liable for damages arising from unauthorized use, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Article 4 (Fees and Payment)

  1. Users shall pay fees for paid services using the method designated by the Operator.
  2. In the event of late payment, default interest of 14.6% per annum shall apply, in accordance with Japanese law.

Article 5 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users shall not engage in any of the following acts:

  1. Prohibited Acts Related to Law, System Integrity, and Service Operation
  2. Prohibited Expressions and Harmful or Inappropriate Content
  3. Prohibited Misconduct, Harassment, and Use for Dating or Exploitation

Article 6 (Suspension of Service)

  1. The Operator may suspend or interrupt the Service without prior notice under the following circumstances:
    • Maintenance or system updates.
    • Force majeure such as earthquake, lightning, fire, power outages, or natural disasters.
    • Network or communication failures.
    • Any situation where continuation is deemed difficult by the Operator.
  2. The Operator shall provide notice within a reasonable timeframe whenever possible.
  3. The Operator shall not be liable for damages resulting from such suspension or interruption.

Article 7 (Copyright)

  1. Users may post only content for which they hold rights or valid authorization.
  2. Copyright of posted content remains with the User or rightful owner. The Operator may use the content free of charge for operation, promotion, or service improvement within the necessary scope. Commercial use beyond that scope requires explicit User consent.
  3. Except as permitted, all intellectual property related to the Service belongs to the Operator or rightful owners. Users shall not reproduce, distribute, modify, or publicly transmit such materials without permission.

Article 8 (Usage Restriction and Deregistration)

  1. The Operator may, without prior notice, restrict usage, delete content, or deregister a User if:
    • The User violates these Terms.
    • False information is discovered in registration details.
    • The User’s payment method is suspended.
    • The User fails to fulfill payment obligations.
    • The User fails to respond to Operator communications.
    • The User remains inactive for an extended period.
    • The Operator otherwise deems continued use inappropriate.
  2. In such cases, the User shall immediately settle all outstanding obligations.
  3. The Operator shall not be liable for damages arising from actions taken under this Article.

Article 9 (Exclusion of Antisocial Forces)

Both the User and the Operator represent and warrant that they are not, and will not be, associated with organized crime groups or antisocial forces. Violation may result in immediate suspension or deregistration.

Article 10 (Withdrawal)

Users may withdraw from the Service following the procedure prescribed by the Operator.

Article 11 (Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability)

The Service is a community platform themed around “reincarnation” as a creative concept. It does not guarantee or induce actual reincarnation, nor physical or any mental changes in the real world. The Service is not intended to provide religious, spiritual, or medical assistance.

  1. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Operator makes no warranties regarding safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, security, absence of defects, or non-infringement.
  2. The Operator shall not be liable for damages arising from the Service except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence. Where the Japanese Consumer Contract Act applies, statutory exceptions take precedence.
  3. Even in such cases, the Operator shall not be liable for damages arising from special circumstances, foreseeable or otherwise. Total liability is limited to the usage fees paid in the month the damage occurred.
  4. Users understand that they may encounter offensive, harmful, inaccurate, or misleading content, and agree that all content is solely the responsibility of its creator. The Operator assumes no responsibility for disputes, communications, or transactions involving Users or third parties.

Article 12 (Modification of Service)

The Operator may modify, add, or discontinue parts or all of the Service with prior notice, generally at least 30 days before the effective date. In urgent cases such as security issues, prior notice may not be possible.

Article 13 (Amendment of Terms)

  1. The Operator may amend these Terms without individual consent when:
    • The amendment benefits Users generally, or
    • The amendment is reasonable based on necessity and balance of interests.
  2. The Operator shall announce the amended Terms and effective date in advance.

Article 14 (Handling of Personal Information)

Personal information shall be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Article 15 (AI Learning)

The Operator will not provide User content to third parties for AI training or model development. In cases where learning or related processing is performed, explicit prior consent shall be obtained.

Article 16 (Notices and Communications)

Notices between the User and the Operator shall be made by methods specified by the Operator. Unless the User submits a change request by the prescribed method, communications sent to the registered contact information shall be deemed delivered at the time of transmission.

Article 17 (Prohibition of Assignment)

Users may not assign or pledge their contractual position or rights and obligations without prior written consent from the Operator.

Article 18 (Compensation for Damages)

Users who violate these Terms and cause damage to the Operator shall be liable to compensate the full amount of such damage.

Article 19 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
  2. The exclusive jurisdiction for the first instance shall be the Ichinomiya Summary Court or the Nagoya District Court.

Article 20 (Special Provisions for U.S. Users)

  1. In accordance with COPPA, individuals under the age of 13 may not use this Service.
  2. Residents of California have rights under CCPA, including:
    • Right to access personal information;
    • Right to request deletion;
    • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (the Service does not sell or share personal information).
  3. The Operator shall respond to such requests within a reasonable period.

Article 21 (Priority of Regional Provisions)

If any provision conflicts with local mandatory laws or regional special provisions, such regional provisions shall take precedence for Users residing in that region.
